RONALD JOSEPH HERRMANN was born on December 21, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas. In 1952, he graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio. From 1952-1961. Herrmann served in the United States Army Reserve from 1952-1961. Herrmann received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in 1957 and doctorate of jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1959. While at law school, he served as the historian for the Tarleton Inn. Following law school, Mr. Herrmann entered solo practice in San Antonio, where he has been since 1959.

Herrmann has a long history of service to the St. Mary’s and legal community in Texas, including as a member of St Mary’s University Board of Trustees, founding director of the San Antonio Bar Foundation, member of the San Antonio and Texas Bar and the Texas Bar Association. He also served as senior vice president of the American Grain Corporation 1962-1966, president and member of the board of directors of Owner FM Inc. since 1969, member of the board of directors for Sun Harvest Farms, Inc., Texas History Society, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, and a lifetime member of the Kansas History Society.

In 1978, St. Mary’s University School of Law recognized Herrmann as a distinguished graduate, as a Distinguished Alumnus in 2007, and received the St. Mary’s University School of Law Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. Currently, Mr. Herrmann practices privately with Columbia Reality LTD.
