Yamilet is a first-generation college student, born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, with family roots in Matamoros, Coahuila, MX. She hopes to one day spark positive change to underrepresented causes and issues. In the meantime, she spends time with her family and pets and focuses the rest of her free time serving her community and giving back to organizations that have helped her achieve her dreams and passions. She is an International and Global Studies and Spanish Double Major with a Portuguese Minor at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, Class of 2022.
