This summer 2024 I will work with COPS/Metro for my public history internship.
I will conduct research in archives and create digitized versions of materials connected to specific events and people in COPS/Metro history. I will also work with the organization’s documentarian to create social media posts/graphics using the materials we find, as well as tag along on oral history interviews with COPS/Metros leaders.
I’m excited to have the opportunity to create social media posts for specific events/people in COPS/Metro history and learn more about the history of grassroots organizing here in San Antonio.
